Cache

To avoid over use of the Unit4 APIs and to speed up processing, some data is temporarily cached by the service. The amount of time will depend on the cache settings but by default it is one hour.

Overriding the Cache​

You may over-ride the cache and force the system to check the APIs by changing the field within the document in Rossum

shows the field caching behaviour in the Rossum screen with the options of use cache or skip caches for this document

By default this is set to use caching however if you change it to skip caches for this document then direct API requests will be made by the service for this document.

Resetting the cache at a system level​

If you wish to reset the cache totally, then you can add a new cacheSuffix into the Rossum extension cache settings , but this is not something that should need to be done regularly.
